"Yerkir" UNGO was founded in November 2002. The organization unites various NGO's from the Republics of Armenia and Karabakh as well as the Armenian Diaspora. "Yerkir's" goal is to repatriate and develop the border regions of the two republics by improving the socio-economic and socio-cultural conditions of life in these areas.
